Fruit picking is popular in this region and prior arrangement will allow guests to visit some packing sheds during the season. Citrus season is in April/September, grapes during November/December, and mango season in January/February.
Arthur Dagg walk is located 500m from the park and is a 2km walk on the banks of the Burnett River which is excellent for bird watching. The nearby Jones Weir is great for waterskiing and has been stocked with Australian Bass, Yellow Belly, Silver Perch and Native Jew which provide excellent fishing.
